Method

How the desk works

Four steps, in order. Nothing moves forward until the step before it is defensible.

  1. 01

    Research the requirement

Every file starts with demand. We establish what is being bought, the driver behind it, the likely timeline, the decision route, and whether it is a public solicitation or a private commercial purchase. If the requirement cannot be substantiated, it does not enter the desk.

  2. 02

    Qualify both sides

Capability is checked against the actual scope: technical range, geography and travel, licensing and certification, capacity in the relevant window, and whether the supplier wants that class of work at all. Buyers are qualified on scope clarity, authority, and route.

  3. 03

Confirm the correct route / permission

Where an opportunity is public, we point suppliers toward the official solicitation, registration or teaming route and stop there. Where it is private, we confirm both parties are willing to be named before anything is disclosed.

  4. 04

Make the introduction and track the outcome

The introduction is short, specific, and contextual: what the requirement is, why this counterparty, what the next step would be. Afterwards we record whether it progressed — that record is the only performance data the desk keeps.

Boundaries

  • We do not represent a buyer or supplier unless expressly agreed in writing.
  • For selected projects, we may participate directly in a teaming or project-coordination capacity where permitted by the procurement.
  • We do not disclose counterparties without permission from both sides.
  • We do not sell contact lists or bulk data.
  • We do not present public procurement as private access.

Public procurement stays within official channels. Private commercial introductions are permission-first.
